My name is Margaret Cook.
I like mixing digital and analogue mediums in my work.
I like systems and data. I like using human behavior, interpersonal interactions, and our current environment as the framework and guide for my design work.
But mostly, I like making work that makes people smile.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May of 2019 with a BFA in Design. I began my academic career in the School of Architecture and still retain a love for the fundamentals I learned there— geometry, form, interconnectivity, and working with design problems at both a macro and a micro scale.
In my free time I like listening to podcasts (5 on an average day, 10 or more on a good day) and taking my lizard, Harry, on long walks using a bright red shoelace as a leash. I am teaching myself German and guitar. German is going very well.
